Atheists, Maybe You Need To Read Up On Science?

“Because you are the ones who doesn’t understand. Scientists want to dominate the the natural world, exploit, and change the perspective of it as a dependent variable or resource. You believe science is this innocent separate thing of it’s own but can’t see what it’s done, what it’s doing, and it’s basic “beliefs.”
Richard Dawkins wrote, “Science boosts its claim to truth by its spectacular ability to make matter and energy jump through hoops on command, and to predict what will happen and when.”
If you force something to jump through hoops, and then predict that it will jump through hoops that is not truth or real evidence, the only evidence it is, is if you force something to jump through hoops on command it will most likely jump through those hoops. Science is out to dominate the planet by destroying and controlling it.
And yes people always have to except scientific reason and even evidence based on “faith”. When you rely on “information” when you rely on institutions, corporations, groups, cults, even books, you are accepting these things based on faith, you are putting faith into these things.
It’s a religion. Scientists go about the world in their own religion of domination and destruction to give birth to technology.
And you guys say “computer” like it’s a scientific miracle. Like its something science has made us to benefit human kind but its not. Computers suck, and are just another tool to boost capitalism. As the natural world disappears we are left to these machines, that represent nothing but progressivism, and post modernism.”
Computers are stupid, and have brought absolutely nothing worthwhile or enhancing to humans. Just another thing to add on the list of the “Failure of Technology”.

You sounded like the Unabomber. Anti Technology person.

Did you post this from a slab of granite and a chisel? kthx

  3. Not A Fundie says:

This sounds like so much fundie drivel. You are oblivious to any knowledge but your own. Your babble demonstrates your ignorance.

  4. James says:

If you think computers are stupid you probably shouldn’t use one.

  5. Revolution for the World says:

“And yes people always have to except scientific reason and even evidence based on ‘faith’.”
    Wrong.
If there is evidence for something, you don’t need faith to support it.
    There is evidence for science.
Therefore, you don’t need faith to accept science.

  6. Citizen of Reality says:

    Nice quote mining bro.
You think you can rewrite the definition of science based on a mined quote and actually convert someone? We aren’t as naive as you.

You can say the same for religion. If you tell someone to believe something, and then predict they will believe it, that is not the truth or real evidence, the only evidence it is, is if you force something to believe something on command, it will most likely believe in that. Religion is out to dominate the planet by destroying and controlling it….

……….I sure do like your avatar.

  9. Gazoo for Prezident says:

Everyone has the right to be stupid, but you are abusing the privilege!

  10. ldmkc1 says:

If computers suck, then why are you on one?

  11. Mike says:

    Are you really this stupid?

  12. Militant Nihilist says:

Computers are great. They allow people like you to amuse me.

  13. punch says:

Then I suggest you get of this stupid computer right away. I mean, it’s brought absolutely nothing worthwhile, including you.

  14. It's Easy says:

I swear I see more questions geared toward atheists more than any other “religion”

  15. The Kelda says:

Where is the actual question? All I see are the ravings of a sadly misinformed individual…
    Thanks for the two points.

  16. Elsie Treize says:

So if you are diagnosed with cancer, or some potentially fatal disease, you will of course refuse all treatments?
Computers are used extensively is medical research and in treatment facilities. In countries where there is a very high percentage of religious belief, there is much more sickness. More women die in childbirth and more babies are stillborn.
Countries with more science (and more secularism) have healthier people and better education and better and longer lives.

  17. Flutters says:

why are u using a computer then??? we move on its life whether you like it or not

  18. Mace says:

It’s called a hypothesis (the matter will jump through a hoop) and testing the hypothesis (the matter jumped through a hoop). If it doesn’t jump through a hoop then another hypothesis is formulated. Most of what we call science isn’t what we’re proving to be right, but what we can’t prove wrong. The hypothesis is constantly debunked and reformulated until it is right in all facets and CAN’T be proven wrong.

  19. Guitar to your face says:

Actually I’m not a scientist and I have not read Dawkins. I’m an atheist because I have studied history and philosophy.

  20. John Smith says:

Certain sciences are invented for the convenience of understanding.
For example: Mathematics. Mathematics is an invention- but what is being studied is not. Everything can be mathematically categorised/analysed, it’s a big system of understanding. If we found something not currently mathematically possible, mathematics itself would change, but not cease to exist! Science discovers, investigates, and modifies. It evolves, in other words. This is the beauty of the art of science. It is a deep understanding of the physical and mental worlds.
Spiritual world, I don’t know. You can believe in it, reject it, or have no opinion, but you must accept what science says, there’s evidence for it!
A computer is a scientific miracle. It has benefited humankind. For example, people have spread protests, contacted friends, and made discoveries over the internet. It’s just another medium for people all over the world to easily reach each other. That’s beauty. Other scientific technology includes books. Without science, we could not understand how a tree could transform into paper. Computers make it so not so many trees have to be cut down. How wonderful!
If you really hate technology and science so much, why don’t you go outside, stark naked, and try that for awhile?

  21. AlCapwne says:

So you’re saying that the scientists are lying? They don’t make this stuff up. If you think that it’s just one big conspiracy, then I have one about the lunar landing that you may find interesting.
Do you even have the slightest clue what science is? Science is the art of testing something to see if it’s true. The scientific method is as follows:
Ask a Question. For example, do heavier objects fall faster than lighter objects?
1: Construct a Hypothesis. I think heavy objects fall faster than lighter objects.
2: Test Your Hypothesis by Doing an Experiment. Drop two objects, one heavy, one light, and see which hits the ground first. Repeat several time to be sure.
3: Analyze Your Data and Draw a Conclusion. Let’s say they hit the ground at the same time (which they would). You would then have to admit that weight does not affect the speed at which something falls.
4: Communicate Your Results. Publish your findings.
    .

  22. Spencer says:

Science is not a religion, it is truths based on the physical word and it’s properties. You can’t just not believe in it and expect it will not apply to you. So according to you if I don’t believe gravity exist I should be able to fly right? Of course not. Scientists do not want to dominate the natural world, they explain the nature world and how things work. Without the use of science we would be living like cavemen.

    Hello!
    I Hate “Evil and Wickedness”
    I Hate “Religion” too.
I LOVE ” The Truth” (Jesus Christ, Born of a Woman, Died on the Cross and Risen from the Dead by The Father Above)
    So There and Ditto

    Atheists reading.
    Hmm…I’d pay to see that.
