What you say is true. But harping on it and hoisting it up above Christ’s commandments is counter-productive. This is what Scripture tells us:
For the whole law is fulfilled in one word, “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.” (Galatians 5:14)
It couldn’t be clearer.
“By contrast, the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, generosity, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.” (Galatians 5:22-23)

Christianity is about charity and love. The fruit of the spirit is love, joy, peace, kindness, and goodness. Scripture commands us to explain truth with kindness and gentleness.
