Hi, I kinda screwed myself over with an unexpected expense and had to take out a payday loan. The company has stacked on so many fees that it’s literally impossible to pay back. One extension fee is $175 and then they just took more “fees” out of my account for $395. None of which pay back to the principal loan. They have ignored my attempts to correct the issue and pay back the loan with a more realistic plan, but threaten to take me to collections if I don’t pay up. It’s just non-sense! I’m already working two jobs and have tried selling everything! I do understand this is how they make money, but ignoring all my attempts to work something out isn’t right.
Should I write to the BBB or credit bureau?

Been married for 6 years, have known her for a bit more than that. Were high school sweethearts but broke up and got back together more times than I can count.
Fast forward to now. We both work and have no kids. And I find that I just don’t look at her the same way anymore. We seem to be more along the line of room mates rather than a married couple. Sex is very few and far between and I know I am just as much to blame for that as her. Simply put, I have no sexual interest in her anymore. She has always been a larger woman and I have never had an issue with that. However she has just kept increasing in weight to the point where it is having an effect on what is left of our love life. I never want to hurt her, I mean seriously how does one say “hey honey, your size is having a direct effect on my libido” without getting a swift kick in the nads?
Finances: After whatever money is put into the household funds, we keep the extras to ourselves to do whatever we want with it. I never say anything about what she does with her extra money, however I am constantly under a microscope about what I do with mine. And when the situation suits her she decides that my extra funds are the “household funds”. Not quite sure how my extra cash all of a sudden belongs to the house when her’s is constantly being used for purses, shoes and other things. I have been trying to save up for years for something that is very important to me but every time I manage to save up a significant sum, she always has some reason to tap into it saying it’s “for the house”.
Possibly cheating: If she says she is off of work at 5:30, she doesn’t walk in the door till close to 8:00. If she’s off at 3:00, she will get home at 6:00. This is a daily occurrence, and I do mean every day. I know it’s not traffic as we live 10mins. from her work. To add an interesting fact to this, a man that has declared his love for her lives about 45mins away from us. Once I told her that she should stop communicating with this guy, she fought with me saying that it wasn’t my choice. She even had the guy send me an email claiming he was no longer interested, thinking that would make me feel better about the whole thing. She finally agreed to stop talking with him, however the delays in her getting home are still there. I admit this is purely subjective but you gotta admit it’s fitting the facts very well.
Family and friends: I have fought with them constantly because they all hate her. As a result she hates all of them. Everyone says I should leave her, that she is manipulating me. I’ve stood my ground wanting this to be a decision I make, but appreciated their input. On the opposite side I am nothing more than an ethnic handyman for her mother whenever I am around. I am called constantly by her when I am out with friends and am given guilt trips every time I make plans with them. I apparently have to justify going out with my friends every single time.
General feelings: I much rather prefer I stay at work than go home. At home I feel depressed like I am “stuck”.
I am very far from the perfect husband but I have never cheated nor will I ever. At the same time feel like things should be much, much better.
…….what do I do about this?

I never trusted banks or credit cards, but then came the need to make some purchases that I just can’t do with cold hard cash in my hand. So, I set up an account with Paypal, and received my first payment. The problem now is being able to get to it. I looked to order a card for it, but the only options I see are Visa Mastercard, etc. So, is the paypal card like a debit card, credit card, or what? Very confusing, because I don’t wanna sink into debt any deeper than I already am. (college kid, you know the story. Not that I’m a bad spender, far from it. I just wanna wipe this out as fast as I can so I’ll have less to worry about 10 years down the line.)
Really nervous about all this, because I’m so used to actually holding the money in my hand so I know exactly how much I have.
Also, I don’t really know what kind of card I should get. Just now found out about the Prepaid Paypal cards, but heard there’s a monthly fee. It’s not dauntingly overpriced, but with no steady source of income and no help, I can’t possibly afford it anyway. Whatever cash I do have left is tucked away in a credit union since banks aren’t that safe anymore, but to keep it open, I have to leave that money in there.
Any answers in detail from personal experience dealing with Paypal cards, debit or prepaid, good AND bad, would be great. I don’t need links to the site or testimonials saying how ‘absolutely flawless’ it is.

I was planning on putting in my two week notice this week because I’m fed up with my employers and their bs. they’re very unprofessional, they’re liars, they’re unappreciative, the list goes on. and I’ve gotten fed up with dealing with their bs. anyways, I walk into work this morning and told I’m suspended for the week for reasons I don’t feel like going into (it’s a really dumb reason. they’re known for unreasonably suspending people). anyhow, it didn’t bother me too much since I was planning on giving my two weeks notice anyhow. but after this situation, I’d rather just go in for my check friday (this friday is payday) and then tell them I’m resigning then rather than having to work any longer and worry about going back to them for another check later. this will be my last check. should I give them a letter or just tell them up front when I pick up my check?

Why is the government granting favoritism to married people in the first place?
Take away the tax breaks, social security inheritance rights and other benefits that married couple get and your see how quickly gay will no longer seak legally recognized marriage.
the whole gay marriage issue is stupid. There is absolutly nothing stopping gays from getting married, or anyone else for that matter. Even in places that have a gay marriage ban, the worse the government can do is deny government benefits. Noone is going to jail or getting fined for gay marriage. If they are then that is a violation of the Consitution and I oppose that, but I have yet to see an example where thats happened.
Why should anyone be discriminated against just because they aren’t lucky enough to get married?
The only politician or media person I’ve heard mention that the government get out of the marriage business is Ron Paul, but only once. Why isn’t he talking more about this?
the govenment shouldn’t have anything to do with marriage except where it concerns children and sharing property rights.
Neocons why are you creating an issue where there doesnt need to be one? Take away gays reasons for wanting to get married and this issue will be dead. Government marriage beneftis are even newer then the income tax.
I’d like someone to tell me why gays, or anyone else should get tax breaks simply for getting married or why you favor gay marriage over eliminating government favoritism for marriage.

My cousin informed me that her husband was to be getting a chapter 14 12c and being discharged from the military. He has told her he would get all his VA benefits except a VA home loan and is getting a general discharge under honorable conditions. My husband says somethings off, especially since he isn’t a veteran? (Cousin’s husband is under his 1st contract, and has 2 more years to complete yet) He was originally going to be given an article 15 because he had failed a urine test. He told her he refused the 15, and wanted to take it to court martial (however when I asked her which type, she said he didn’t know yet) Will this guy be getting va benefits without being a veteran, will he be getting anything at all? I’m so afraid he is lying out his *** to her. He is also telling her he will get money to move the family back to their original home.

Lets see. You got one day until the weekend. Heck, I usually consider this day to be the
weekend. I love the energy that this day has. For some, this is payday. And for others it is tomorrow. Other than that, this is an upbeat part of the week. People are alive and jumpy around this time. Its like the setting up for the weekend, and you just feel so relaxed and not as stressed. There is a mysterious charm that comes with this day.

I currently live in scotland and hope to move to LA with friends, we have researched it thoroughly, areas, average rents, bills and wages. Yes, i have been to LA and we love it, everywhere has its down sides no matter where you live. I was just curious as to what qualifications i would hope to have in order to make it into a decent product design course in the area. Please no cynical talk of how it’s impossible and how i don’t want to move as its something that i am extremely interested in doing, im sure you have all had your own dreams once, i am just looking for some helpful advice on how i would start and how to go about things as i’ve been finding it hard to find the right information with different qualifications etc.
