I’m turning 16 years old in a few weeks and currently work at minimum wage at Marshalls with no chance of pay raise or bonuses. I want to get a second job this summer; I’m considering applying for a few positions such as a hostess at the Melting Pot or Outback Steakhouse, a server at Johnny Rockets, or a cashier at Au Bon Pain. Which of these would be most enjoyable and/or pays the best? Any other job suggestions would be helpful as well.

Is there maybe a certain number to call or just from your personal experience, a good place to take out a loan for about $2,500 if I already have loans out for school and just recently got myself out of debt at the bank?

My girlfriend does a little promotional modelling and wants to step upto more glamour work. The problem is some of the photographs are “holding her back” as she says so shes looking to jump the gun and just have something put together. I’ve agreed to put in some of the cash but most of the quotes we’ve had back from photographers and studios are about £2000 for not that great a product. Which is far too much, does anyone know somewhere that will put together something professional and cheap.

Alright so I have a few questions to ask. I and my girlfriend having been living together for 2 years. We both work and she makes more money than me. We also enjoy to play poker. If I made a hundred dollars or at least 50 I picked up and left. Well then within a week the tables turn. I lost my first 100 got mad went tilt and try getting it back the next day. I lost try it at the other games at the racetrack I played at and lost it that same day. Bringing me down to 250. Yes I had over 500 and gotten to there in 2 days. It was a sick feeling. I didn’t even go back to poker after few bad beat and going full tilt. Its a twisted and sick feeling. Of course I lost it all in the long run with craps, blackjack, and roulette. You know it might had been my first rodeo to lose casino money you won that fast and be gone like the wind. But I want to invest and make it into a living. Now my girlfriend which makes me quite mad does better in poker than me makes more money than me and has some save. Makes me mad and jealous which I guess brings alot of arguments into our relationship. I mean the way I was raised I came from a family where the husband had the money. Some went to school and either join the military or became pastors, or congress. I hated that crap it seem boring to me. I wanted to join the military but couldn’t because of a medical condition. Whenever we have thanksgiving they wanna play triva pursuit. I dont care for hollywood crap just money. They wanna treat me like im something off intervention. Well dont know how you people can help but I like some advice..
